Speeding Up Hope For Sonic Prime

2022 has been an elevating year for Sonic the Hedgehog so far with hopes for Sonic Frontiers excelling [32] [103] [104], a complication of his first five games titled “Sonic Origins”, the outstanding financial success of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 [69], his special guest appearance in his own game on Roblox [25] [66], the live-action short that came with its digital release and the unexpected return of his previous movie design referred to as “Ugly Sonic” [12] [19]. I still believe that I would be satisfied with the care put into Baymax! on Disney+ [4] [16] [85] [86] [87], but would the outcome of Sonic Prime satisfy my teenage self [65] [105]? You can still say that I am a former fangirl of the speedy blue rodent these days, pretty much like an ex-girlfriend of his. Nonetheless, I am ready to speed up as I analyse a few new teasers after Pac-players dined on an expansion of PAC-MAN Museum and our fellow Fortnite fighters were hungry for with the gluttonous but loveable yellow fellow and the four ghosts as some back bling and an emote in a brand new season of the third chapter of Fortnite: Battle Royale [22] [23] [106]. After all, I am considered quite a news reporter whose article from 2020 has been recommended by one of the official Namco Bandai Twitter accounts [3] [5] [7] [96] [99] [100].

I sure love to troll toxic fans with a certain scene from Sonic ‘06 as a punishment for being toxic [47] [53] [93]. But apart from that, here I go, expressing some hopes for Sonic Prime. [45]

Before the release of the two separate character reveals, I suspected that there would be some alternate versions of the characters from other universes, such as a good version of Eggman and an evil version of Sonic [107]. Sounds awfully familiar, doesn’t it [14] [74]? During the sneak peek in the live Sonic Central event, I was bewildered to see the one and only Shadow the Hedgehog running through Green Hill Zone and smashing a huge rock, which I believe would further motivate my significant other into watching it later this year [25] [43] [66]. Moreover, I wondered how effective Shadow’s role in the series would be, just like how we wondered how the next Sonic the Hedgehog movie from Paramount will portray him [69]. I did not expect Big the Cat and Froggy to make an appearance in another teaser [44]. Unfortunately, due to their very little popularity, they might only just make a cameo. Surely, Netflix needs to give less-known properties a chance instead of flat-out cancelling them [84]. Nonetheless, we can still be grateful for Sonic Prime being given a chance like how Greg the Grim Reaper would give Conker the Squirrel another chance at living [36]. Heck, I would give Big the Cat another chance at a bigger role.

Big the Cat deserves some respect, considering how I would much rather hang out with him than any toxic fanbrats [1]. Any Big supporters out there can rejoice! [44] [72]

Here is the ultimate lifeform. Will he once again have flashbacks of Maria Robotnik or just vow to fight like he always had as if the world was against him [52] [53]? [63]

As admirable as the collaboration between Pusheen the Cat and Hatsune Miku is, Sonic’s personality will still be as adventurous as ever [10] [50] [77] [103] [104], as many Sonic supporters would expect. To provide something new and fresh in a brand new television series, there will be aspects of Sonic learning to treasure his friendships more deeply [63] [72]. Such progression ought to be more than just an apology for making Big and Froggy spin around as he must learn to not take his friendships for granted. Yes, plenty of us did not like his jerky attitude in his crossover with OK K.O. very much [65] [70] [105], but there may be something in Sonic Prime that will urge him to bring out a more humble and considerate side, even when he could suddenly be wearing brand new boots for rainy days or as a werehog in Funko Pop! form [59] [76]. There may not be any sign of Sonic the Werehog making a comeback in Sonic Prime [43] [44] [45] [65], but my fellow simmers can tune into the howls of the shortly upcoming Werewolves Game Pack for The Sims 4 [80] [81] [82]. It looks like those differently designed sneakers in some concept art that was revealed last year might have been scrapped…unless they belong to a Sonic from another universe [6] [71] [65] [105]!

Although I love the new looks for the Goth family in a fairly recent update for The Sims 4 [18] [35] [78] [79], I understand that a character’s portrayal is more important as I will root for Sonic learning to be humbler in Sonic Prime. As someone who voiced Hana Blostma for the second time and Wilma Deering in a sci-fi crossover [28] [29] [30], I am always up for effective character development, yet as someone who is often up for laughs [24], I am sure there can be witty moments too [65] [105]. [45]

It is suspected that Tails and Knuckles will be in the series too after we have witnessed their nobilities in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 [69]. And yes, Amy Rose and Dr. Eggman ought to as well. Tails has been a great host for TailsTube so far [67] [68], but I will expect him to be as loyal to Sonic as he has ever been outside of his career as a new social network personality. Besides, 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of his debut [54]. But…will there be a far less loyal Tails? As I recall the trailer for Sonic Frontiers Prologue [25] [61] [66], I guess Knuckles may be seen guarding the Master Emerald at some point in Sonic Prime as well. I do not want SonAmy shoved down my throat as if I was still trapped by certain online toxicity [1], but I suspect an Amy from another universe can be rescued by Sonic at some point in the series as if we were watching a modern adaption of Sonic CD [60]. Exceptional writing for each episode can make Sonic Prime seem almost as fresh as the idea of exploring a new underwater village in a new expansion pack for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, even though that has not been established yet [95] [101] [102].

Enjoying TailsTube so far [67] [68]? I suppose he can be associated with some examples of Sonic knowing that he must be less arrogant in Sonic Prime, potentially making him quite like a civilized pony in My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale [40] [41] [42]. But then again, a version of him from another universe could teach him that. Who will be the next guest on TailsTube [68]? [67]

Knuckles’ portrayal in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was excellent [69], but how can it be done in Sonic Prime if he makes an appearance in an episode, whether he is a version of himself from another universe or not [71]? Surely, the Eggster may be the reason for Sonic’s ability to travel to an alternate universe, much like how he will be responsible for how he gets lost in Starfall Islands in Sonic Frontiers [103] [104]. [48]

Sonic Prime is a production in Canada, which explains why there is a brand new cast of voice actors, including Deven Mack as Sonic [63] [65] [105]. There may have been some Canadian cartoons that were not all that well-received [75], but the extra potential in new teasers for Sonic Prime could be sure to speed up the reputation of Canadian animation in the early 2020s [43] [44]. Besides, there have also been some well-received Canadian cartoons throughout history as well [38] [83]. I bet Deadpool would love to help the legacy of Canadian cartoons excel in an animated series of his own too that will hopefully NOT get cancelled [34] [39], which can perhaps be set in the strange alternate universe Stephen Strange discovers in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness [17] [92]. Sausage Party was produced in Canada, but I sincerely hope that none of the animators for Sonic Prime ended up being treated poorly during its production [9]. It sure is refreshing that Sonic Prime is a Canadian production, kind of like how Sonic In Sydney was a puppet show exclusively in Australia back in the ‘90s [62] [64]. More importantly, there ought to be something truly memorable about it in terms of writing and faithfulness to the games.

Speaking of Canadian cartoons, I still believe that a reboot of Angela Anaconda can be done exceptionally [75] [88] [89]. What else makes Sonic Prime a unique specimen is that it will be the first Sonic cartoon to debut on a streaming service [63]. [44] [72]

There is some more potential for Sonic Prime to be quite an excellent combination of what made Sonic X and Sonic Boom quite popular outside of the video game series [2] [58]. Some of us may prefer the mid-2000s anime or the animated series based on an alternate universe and that is absolutely fine. What could be next? The Fish Tank gang escaping from a marine life centre in a new Pixar film [21]? A sequel to Super Princess Peach [45]? Reflecting on my strong suggestion to make Pete become a good guy in a sequel to Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers in terms of putting kindness and justice in the same position of priorities as creativity and financial gain [9] [11] [12] [86] [87], I would not mind having Amber Heard replaced with Emilia Clarke for the next Aquaman movie and I strongly suggest being kind and respectful to Britney Spears, especially after her miscarriage a month ago [13] [15] [20] [26] [27] [57]. I hope that some Sonic supporters can spread kindness as well after a certain stunt pulled by Ken Penders [49] [51]. After bronies and pegasisters made their marks whilst stating their opinions on My Little Pony: Mark Your Mark [37] [73] [90] [91], hopes for the best outcome of Sonic Prime are held high, like the stars to be reached for tonight. 

What else awaits me? Me going to the Arcade Club in Manchester for the second time [86] [87] [94]? Me rising above more hate [49] [51] [97] [98]? Are you guys pumped for Netflix Games and the second season of The Cuphead Show too [31] [32] [72]? I am also proud of myself for pointing out a certain typo [32]. And speaking of kindness, let us keep encouraging equality in honour of Pride Month [56]. [32]

As for the cute little blue speedster, it sure would be a thrill to dash through his beginnings…but with some twists if they get chosen [25] [66]. Classic Sonic’s return in Sonic Generations was so worth it eleven years ago [55]. Stay rad, Sonic supporters! [25] [66]
