Revisiting Sweet Moments With Hello Kitty Fun

Hola and olá, fellow kitties! Now that some of you and some of our animal crossers, including Butters from South Park are relishing in the Summer vibes of Hello Kitty Island Adventure and there is hype for the first season of Lackadaisy as the page for its funding has reached $700,000 for three episodes [7] [30] [31] [40] [42], I believe that now is the time to also revisit the adorableness of Hello Kitty Fun, also known as “Sweet Moments With Hello Kitty” as its fourth anniversary is yet to be marked with a little red heart-shaped stamp. The series began nearly four years ago primarily for Brazilian, Latin-American and Mexican fellow kitties [9] [22] [28] [48] [49]. Nearly a year later, its English version titled “Sweet Moments With Hello Kitty” cuted out English-speaking fellow kitties, including yours truly during a very difficult time for the world [48] [49] [52] [53]. Despite the series’ closure and how it would have been swell to watch a fourth season at some point last year [26], let us fondly reflect on some sweet and fun events with Hello Kitty who can also be referred to as “Hola Gatita” and “Olá Gatinha” during the sales of new Summer-themed Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss merchandise [35] [48] [49].

It is time to look back on the cutest cartoon of 2019 and 2020 that continued to blossom like a field of daisies and buttercups in 2021 [15] [16] [18] [48] [49]! [12] [17]

Since we have already discussed Season One and Season Two of the series [48] [49] [50] [51] [52] [53], let us warm up for the sporting events in Season Three from 2021 [10] [11] [12] [21] [23] [25]. There may be the absence of Mimmy, Kitty’s twin sister [41], but there is still focus on how the twin with the red or pink bow handles fairly realistic scenarios, making the third season faithful to the previous ones [48] [49] [50] [51] [52] [53], but in a different theme [26] [27] [28]. The sports she participates in include:

• Karate [10] [18]
• Swimming [11] [15]
• Track running [20] [21]
• Long jumping [12] [17]
• Football (also known as Soccer in America) [16] [26] [34]
• Basketball [19] [25]
• Skateboarding [14] [27]
• Gymnastics [13] [23]

Aside from the third time beings the charm after two failures in five shorts [13] [15] [17] [18] [20], others feature her thinking differently during the activity, such as preventing a football from hitting a bee [16], which makes the writing of the third season a little more varied within a sports theme. Despite the difficulties Kitty faces as a pint-sized athlete and how she does not always succeed in every sport [15] [17] [19], she still proves that not only does practice make perfect but that girls like her can do it too. Barbie: The Movie and “No Match For Angelina” anyone [5] [29]? The theme of the third season must have been written that way to keep up with the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games that were delayed to Summer 2021 [38] [39] [54].

As much as I can praise the original Angelina Ballerina for handling rather realistic conflicts a young girl could face at some point in a G-rated manner, such as sexism in sports and conquering the fear of something going wrong during a show throughout its run [1] [2] [29], I can praise the third season of Hello Kitty Fun for being a cute compilation of sports-themed shorts in no particular chronological order [13] [14] [16] [17] [18] [19] [20], especially for a younger audience during the run of the reasonably delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games [38] [39] [54]. [13] [23]

And of course, there was a moment of Kitty White doing a sport before the third season as there was an episode of the first centred on her playing tennis with a tennis ball machine [9] [52] [53]. Too bad there was a missed opportunity to write and animate a short centred on her doing a rhythmic ribbon performance as that would have fitted her character so well [37] [38] [39]. As simplistic as the plots are throughout all three seasons [12] [22] [23] [28] [52] [53], they are still enjoyable to watch. [10] [18]

Let us expand on how the shorts in the third season are written. As an autistic person, I guess chopping a pillow instead of a plank of wood would be a lot more sensory-friendly, which is an example of Kitty coming up with an idea of making an activity much easier for her [10] [18]. Another is how she uses an apple as a goal during her attempts at long jumping [12] [17]. As previously mentioned, Kitty has not always succeeded at the end as she shrugs off the failure to slam dunk the last basketball and giggles sweetly in “Slam Dunk” [19] [25]. I like how she imagines collecting apples on her skateboard in “Eyes on The Prize” as it not only provides some form of creative thinking on her behalf but it also reminds me of how Crash Bandicoot would collect wumpa fruit [14] [27] [43]. Kitty’s experiences show that it is okay to show some weakness and not always find an activity easy [10] [11] [13] [15] [18] [23], but as previously mentioned, they show that girls like her can be sporty and have a chance at excelling at sports too, even though the English title of the third season being “Going For Gold” would be mostly misleading as Kitty has only won a gold award in “The Finish Line” [20] [21].

There is absolutely nothing wrong with making a sport more inclusive for you, especially if you are a beginner. Heck, Sonic the Hedgehog wears a life jacket during the swimming events in Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games and Mario & Sonic At The London 2012 Olympic Games [36] [37]. [11] [15]

A trophy full of apples [20] [21]! How enrichingly sweet! Could the next trophy Crash Bandicoot wins be full of wumpa fruit [6]? [20] [21]

The series has always been easy on the eyes and ears of a fellow kitty. The visuals are once again simplistic with very little detail in the backgrounds and objects that are crudely coloured in to provide some humbles vibes of a child’s drawings [13] [14] [18] [19] [20]. In “Diving In!”, the water of the swimming pool she eventually jumps into is in a nice light tint of blue that fits nicely into the plain white background [11] [15]. The same applies to the sand’s pale colour in “Jumping For Apples” [12] [17]. I just love it when red hearts appear around her, along with how a bee drew a bigger one for her with their trail in “Goal!” [16] [26]! Kitty’s movements are rather basic due to her kawaii art-styled anatomy but quite elegant enough to challenge Angelina from Angelina Ballerina to a dance-off [1] [2] [13] [23]. Aside from some fitting sound effects and others that are far quirkier beyond realism [14] [20] [21] [27], there is a variety of short but pleasant musical samples that are heard throughout each of Kitty’s progresses to elevate her moods and further increase the wholesomeness [13] [15] [16] [17] [18] [19]. Looks like some dialogue for the fashion icon feline is not necessary when her determination in each premise is self-exploratory. With some good use of cheery audio and a simplistically cute art style, the series maintained its individuality throughout all three seasons [48] [49] [50] [51] [52] [53].

The grass in “Goals” may not be literally green [16] [26], but it can be considered already greener when it comes to maintaining Kitty’s likeability [22]. And again, Kitty stands out from the plainly designed backgrounds like a star in the night sky [48] [49]. [16] [26]

And not to mention that Kitty is a fashionable young lady as she wears appropriate attire for each sport [10] [13] [14] [18] [23] [27]. [19] [25]

Overall, revisiting the third season of Hello Kitty Fun, also known as “Sweet Moments With Hello Kitty” two years after its run is quite convenient as this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand kicked off the day before the theatrical release of Barbie: The Movie [5] [16] [20] [32]. For those cartoon lovers who consider themselves more like dog people, Scooby-Doo and his fellow investors, also commonly referred to as “those meddling kids” by those who get caught red-handed are yet to solve another case with the aid of Krypto the Superdog this September [44]. As for Hello Kitty and her fellow Sanrio stars, there is a lot to do on their vacation on Apple Arcade [45], from baking cakes to taking photographs. Who can forget her promotional appearance at Apple Omotesando in Tokyo [8]? Not me, fellow kitties! To this day, Hello Kitty Fun, also known as “Sweet Moments With Hello Kitty” deserves some recognition for being such a cute and wholesome cartoon on the internet [48] [49] [50] [51] [52] [53]. Reviewing the third season two years later after its run is better late than never [13] [14] [15] [17] [18] [19]. Sometime afterwards, I am sure that I will be starstruck at the sixth episode of the second season of Helluva Boss [3] [4]. Stay sweet and have fun, fellow kitties!

Marvel’s Midnight Suns Set To Rise Near The End of 2022

It has been a year since we felt the heat of the potential of Marvel’s Midnight Suns as we watched the announcement trailer and gameplay debut [31] [70] [71] [72] [73]. There was quite a lot that has been revealed during the Disney and Marvel showcase, including a little more on what the game has to offer and a project from Skydance New Media starring four heroes, including Captain America and Black Panther in a war between two worlds [26]. All hell will be let loose on Earth if it was not for Lilith’s grieving and it will be up to her estranged offspring and a league of heroes to stop her and her minions. Surely, there ought to be a rehabilitation centre in Hell after Lilith’s defeat [5] [68] [69]. I should know because I will be sent there for wearing socks with sandals [5] [15]. The RPG was supposed to be released back in March [31] [70] [71] [72] [73], but it got delayed to late 2022 [32] [33] [34] [42]. While some loyal Marvel fans take a dive with Jeff for the second season of It’s Jeff and our Pixar pals speed up with Lightning McQueen and Mater on Disney+ [25] [51], let us repent before a big chance to defeat Lilith with the Midnight Sons [13].

Would you believe that it was been almost a lustrum since I began blogging about video games [67]? And nope! Sorry, but I am not going back to writing creepypastas [11] [43]! [34] [42]

The game’s premise is based on the comic books that feature the alliance known as the “Midnight Sons” [22]. Founded by Doctor Stranger, the Midnight Sons league began with the third volume of Ghost Rider back in 1998 [19]. The meaning of the group’s name is that the members have had “a taste of damnation” at some point and some of them try to prevent the same from happening to anyone else. I am always up for new films, animated series and video games based on comic book series with their own chronological differences as I am aware that it is best to not judge a novel or novella solely by its movie adaptation [59]. Another example of this would be identifying the chronological differences between Frozen and its musical theatre adaption [58], which is what I am yet to witness in person [68] [69]. Even though some may ultimately prefer the comics for the sake of faithfulness, others can still feel the heat of the gameplay and character progressions throughout an interactive adaptation, especially when it comes to making their Hunter look like them to feel like they are a part of it, much like in South Park: The Stick Of Truth [50].

An adaptation of a comic book series would always consist of some chronological differences, whether it would be a movie, television series or video game. [22]

Soon, there will be a series of animated shorts set before the events of the game [13] [34] [42], just like how there will be a short prequel film of Sonic Frontiers [52]. The animation in the trailer for the series is striking with the characters expressing their abilities with their iconic attires in the Midnight Suns colour palette [34] [42]. The action presented in brief introductions of the characters is rather fast-paced to an exceptional level that would lead to thrilling fighting sequences aside from samples of their traits. A few examples include Doctor Strange summoning a spell book with his sorcery, Captain America tossing his shield as if it was an oversized frisbie and Spider-Man taking a photograph before masking him and swimming from a web. Lastly, we get a shot of all the heroes against the villains, like in the introduction sequence of Xiaolin Showdown [7]. The first episode of the prequel shorts will be released this Halloween, which is fitting, considering the heroes must fight demons from Hell [32] [48]. I also suspect that it will make up for how the game was supposed to be released this October before another delay [32]. Chronologically, watching all five episodes ought to provide some engaging build-up before tuning into the card-based roleplaying vengeance [13].

I do not doubt that my own Marvel character, Crystal Angel would look adorable yet empowered in a yellow superheroine dress with black clouds at the bottom if she was part of that line [65] [66]. [34] [42]

More characters in the alliance include: 

• Spider-Man [41]
• Scarlet Witch, who will firstly be an antagonist [21] [34] [40] [42]
• Captain Marvel [39]

I thought Peter Parker was going to be part of DLC after the game’s release a year ago as there was no sign of him in the announcement trailer [31] [70] [71], but it turns out that he will already be in the roster, which is a plus in honour of the 60th anniversary of his debut [27] [48] [53] [54] [55] [56]. Another fact about The Hunter, the customisable protagonist, they were put into the care of Lilith’s sister and trained to protect humanity [38]. After reading the Spider-Man/Deadpool comic compilation from 2016 known as “Isn’t It Bromantic?” [20], I am up for Deadpool and possibly Shiklah rebelling against Lilith’s tribe as part of DLC [70] [71],considering they resided in Hell together in those comics after they got married. Other options for new downloadable fighters can be other members of the Midnight Sons in the comics, such as Iron Fist and Elsa Bloodstone [22]. As for pre-ordering the game, those who do so will receive a “defenders” skin for Doctor Strange [13] [33]. Whether The Hunter will be a man or a woman [72] [73], they will surely have one hell of an experience within an interactive adaption of the Midnight Sons comics [22].

“Still hoping that I’ll be a downloadable Midnight Son, Laura? I bet our reader hopes so too! How about I flaunt one of my mafia outfits from Marvel Future Fight during my thirtieth anniversary for you tonight [37]? It will be yet another ASMR roleplay [64].” – Deadpool, the merc with muscles, machoness and a mouth. [36]

Ummmm…let me think about that, Deadpool. I also suspect that some of the other Avengers can make an appearance within DLC as well, such as Black Panther and Black Widow [3] [4], quite like how a certain limbless superstar will finally return in 3D in the post-launch DLC for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope [48]. [41]

Uh oh! Looks like not all the superstars from Marvel will get along in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. It was revealed back in June that Venom will be consumed by the demonic force and be an opponent in one of the boss battles at some point [14] [32]. The same will happen to the Hulk [38], considering he is known for his incredible strength and rage for sixty years [8] [17]. It sure would be insane if Red Hulk or Carnage were to be extra bosses under the demonic influence as part of DLC [29] [61]. I suppose there can also be a multiplayer mode within DLC sometime after the game’s release, despite how unlikely that sounds. Nonetheless, it would be quite fascinating to be able to play as Lilith’s minions in a downloadable multiplayer mode as if they were hired by the Immediate Murder Professionals from Helluva Boss as that would be similar to how the option to play as any of the villains eventually became available in Teen Titans Battle Blitz [44] [49]. But still, we can always be grateful for a single-player experience of our own Hunters befriending beloved Marvel heroes and serving justice against evildoers [72] [73].

Venom has always been devious and terrifying [1], but I would consider Carnage to be scarier [61]. Nevertheless, I ought to not call Venom back when he is devouring a sinner under Lilith’s influence [2]. [14] [32]

I also suspect that Scarlet Witch will be one of the weaker bosses to fight before she joins the side against Lilith [21] [34] [42], which can provide some effective character development, much like the progression she had in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness [10]. [40]

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will finally be released this December after two seemingly reasonable delays [13] [30] [32] [33] [34] [42]. But before that, an epic card game known as “MARVEL SNAP” awaits our dear mobile gamers and our Disney devotees will be enchanted by Disenchanted on Disney+ and witness the homes of beloved Disney characters collide in Disney Dreamlight Valley [9] [12] [28] [63]. Aside from the sun of Marvel’s Midnight Suns shining this December, Mickey Mouse and his friends will go on an adventure that consists of the whacky platformer vibes from Rayman Origins in 2023 [47] [60]. There is also plenty of time to hope for the best outcome of the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid starring Halle Bailey as Ariel in honour of Walt Disney Studios’ 100th anniversary [62], despite the negative reception of its teaser trailer [18]. As for Marvel, there will be an adventure with a player’s own superhero and their favourite Marvel heroes that could be similar to Pokémon GO in 2023 [30] [46]. Aside from the battle against minions from Hell in Marvel’s Midnight Suns this December [13] [33] [34] [42], Hell will also break loose with a Helluva Boss event at Lvl Up Expo in Las Vegas in early 2023 before the proposed release of Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse [16] [68] [69]. Who knows when the midnight sun will set after it rises?

As we wait for the best outcome of Marvel’s Midnight Suns, let us wish Cartoon Network a Happy 30^th Anniversary [6], just like how we wished Deadpool a Manic Nerdy Thirty last year [37]. I hope the cosplayers who cosplayed as Marvel characters at D23 Expo this year had a blast at the event [23]. [13] [33] [34]

A Movie Awaits A Trio Of Mobians In 2022 (Ft. Tom Wisniewski)

Laura: Ladies and gentlemen, mobians and badniks, behold! The official trailer for the sequel to a speedy blue rodent’s cinematic acclaim that was revealed alongside the trailer for Sonic Frontiers in the Game Awards 2021 Livestream [41] [42] [60] [63] [68] [77]! I have been expecting the opportunity to analyse it at some point after being cuted out by the crossover between Pusheen and Hello Kitty [21] [22] [23] [24] [44] [45]. There had to be some purpose for the mid-credits scene, right? It would take a lot of determination and caution to do the best filming possible for a direct sequel to a box-office hit during the continuation of a global pandemic [26]. After a brand new third chapter began for Fortnite fighters, allowing them to battle with our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man began about a week ago [17] [18] [38], many Sonic supporters out there began to keep their hopes high for what can honour the legacy of the first film’s ironic success [67]. Let us charge through this analysis together, just in time after the first movie becomes available to watch on Netflix in the United Kingdom and his return in the recent Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade as a balloon float [37] [39]. Once again, I will not be gathering what to expect from the sequel alone since Tom Wisniewski, my boyfriend is psyched as Player Two.

Tom: When I first heard about a live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie, I thought it was going to suck (especially after that disastrous first trailer) [91]. But when the film came out, boy I was happy to be proven wrong [67]. The film was a lot of fun, Ben Schwartz captured the spirit of the character very well, Jim Carey was the best he’s been in years, and it was a nice new take on the classic character. With the teaser in the post-credits scene, and the film’s box-office success, it was inevitable we were going to get a sequel [90], and the trailer for it came out recently [41] [60] [63]. So, what do I think of it?

Some of us must be holding a grudge against the same website that removed the tenth episode of Sonic and Tails R for an unexplained reason before it was restored the next day [28] [29] [30]. On a lighter note, would anyone using the brand new Windows 11 right now like a tub of bloomberry ice cream after this analysis [16] [95] [96]? [41]

Laura: The blue speedster’s live-action interpretation has come a long way since his critically panned design from the first trailer for the first movie [91]. Interestingly enough, he wants a little more freedom sometime after settling into a new home [64], which adds to the confidence, fondness of adventure and signs of impatience he had always consisted of in the video games [64]. Looks like he still has an appetite for chilli dogs, along with some fashionability for pulling stunts in his new home [41] [60] [63]. I do not recommend allowing him to do those in my house. It is a shame the sequel will not be based on Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing as he is also seen recklessly driving a robber’s van [48], but at least he seems great at snowboarding. Apart from his wittiness and sense of adventure, could there be a time when he would reflect on his separation from Longclaw [91]? I strongly believe there ought to be a moment featuring that as it is unknown what happened to her in the introduction of the first film, even though it is highly likely that she was killed off by the tribe. A familiar, but freshly re-established friendship is yet to further assure him that he will never have to be all alone again [41] [60] [63].

How cute does Sonic look in his greatly improved design for his next live-action adventure? As cute as Hatsune Miku looks in her Sonic Style attire for those who pre-ordered Hatsune Miku: Colourful Stage! [10], which is a brief rehash of how she celebrated his 20th anniversary in her own Sonic cosplay back in 2011 [43]. Sonic is sure to provide some light-heartedness and adventurousness, quite like Sunny Starscout and Izzy Moonbow from My Little Pony: A New Generation [88] [89]. [41]

The blue blur and the two-tailed genius looked absolutely adorable in their collaboration with Cookie Run: Kingdom [11] [12] [13], as they sure do in the official trailer for a live-action follow-up [41] [60] [63]. Surely, some of us prefer Tails’ portrayal in brilliantly done fanmade projects, such as Sonic and Tails R over how he is portrayed in the post-2009 games [31] [49] [50], but what about the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 2? How they are seen on a highly familiar red plane just yells “Sonic the Hedgehog 2 from 1992!” rights in our faces [51]. There also appears to be a throwback of the bar scene from the first movie as the duo are also seen in new disguises [41] [60] [63]. I suppose it ought to be classified as the “winter edition”. We are yet to find out Tails’ prime motivations for finding Sonic with the help of a tracking device and befriending him as it must have something to do with either a plot point that will be mentioned later or the danger the tribe of echidnas caused in Sonic’s world [67]. Within a whole new introduction, I am sure that their friendship will soon be as fashionably enlightening as the alliance of two Barbies [4] [5] [41] [60] [63].

“I’m gonna get a sequel and Tails will be a friend of mine! [73]” [41]

Tom: I am happy they were able to get Tails most recent voice actress Colleen O’Shaughnessey to voice Tails again [40], a nice bit of fan service there.

There also appears to be quite a glow-up for his character design, compared to the mid-credits scene from the first film [67] [91]. [41]

Laura: Before the release of the trailer [41] [60] [63], I speculated that Knuckles the Echidna would have been a member of the tribe that tracked down a younger Sonic in the first film [67]. Could that be the case later on in a moment of some depth, such as a flashback? I am rather bewildered at him being a new sidekick for Dr. Robotnik [41] [60] [63]. However, I am not entirely surprised since there were some moments of the doctor tricking the red echidna in the games [78]. Knuckles also appears to have an exclusive power, but within a red aura, further enhancing the credibility of the use of CGI [41] [60] [63]. His character design is also exceptional, resembling what he looks like in the games, but with some convincing details. Additionally, his gloves still resemble spiked mittens, unlike his design in the fan film from Blue Core Studios [8]. How Knuckles’ character will be exclusively re-established in the sequel will also help the film honour the legacy of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles [52] [53]. Moreover, I will root for him eventually joining Sonic and Tails’ side after moments of battling and character progression.

Tom: Tails is being introduced in this movie (after the post-credits scene in the first film) [67] [91], but also Knuckles makes an appearance [41] [60] [63]. He’s being voiced by British actor Idris Elba, so from that I can gather they’re going for the tough, no nonsense attitude that Knuckles was originally best known for. As much as I would’ve loved to hear Dan Green voice Knuckles again [46] [48], that was a big ask, and I do think Idris is a good choice all the same.

I will expect a notable evolution within this interpretation of Knuckles the Echidna. Quite similarly, I believe that there will be important aspects of character evolution in Lightyear, an upcoming spin-off of the Toy Story franchise that is centred on Buzz Lightyear’s origin [84] [85]. [41]

As the first film laid the groundwork for the Sonic world, this movie looks more like it’s transitioning into the looks of the video games [48] [51] [52] [53]. Dr. Robotnik returns to earth, now looking more like his classic Eggman design, with his big bushy moustache and red coat [41] [60] [63].

Laura: I knew the devious Dr. Robotnik, also known as “Eggman” would seek revenge on Sonic in the forthcoming sequel! Of course, his patch of brown hair is absent and his moustache is bigger and bushier [41] [60] [63]. He seems to relish in his new appearance as a sign of him still maintaining his ego, in spite of his defeat near the end of the first film. Aside from that, there would be some concern for his sanity after he was sent to the Mushroom Planet [59] [61]. Nevertheless, I can see his huge determination by the summoning of more badniks [41] [60] [63]. You Sonic supporters know that he is up to no good when he is gaining access to the Master Emerald, a legendary relic Knuckles would be the protector of to keep Angel Island floating [52] [53]. Reprising the role that was very well performed in the first film [67], Jim Carrey is sure to provide more samples of light-hearted humour when it comes to Eggman seeking revenge as shown in small but notable examples in the trailer [41] [60] [63]. Do I need to say more when the way he peers through a hole in the wall just screams “The Shining” in my face [36]?

Tom: Whilst the film takes place on planet Earth again, it looks to be taking Sonic to different colourful locations [41] [60] [63], many of which gave me vibes of Sonic Adventure [47], which makes me very happy indeed. The Master Emerald was shown in the trailer, so we could maybe get to see Angel Island [52] [53]. Also seeing Sonic boarding down the snowy mountainside, and chasing Robotnik in the sky on Tails plane The Tornado, again, put me in mind of some of the levels in the games [51]. I do appreciate the genuine effort the filmmakers are making to make us Sonic fans feel right at home with these familiar locations.

Shadow the Hedgehog much [46]? Would he smell like a specific cologne or a specific scanted candle [55] [56] [57]? [41]

Laura: Surely, there ought to be some new developments for Mr. and Mrs. Wachowski during a few scenes. How Tom is seen talking to Sonic on a fishing trip is a sign that something will lead to him gaining some maturity and the eventual ability to use his powers more wisely [41] [60] [63], as well as aiding him to keep a specific secret [65] [66]. Considering how his blue buddy is yearning for some more adventure, I can tell that he is advising him that there will be unexpected moments when his powers are more necessary, which would be the case when he learns a few things along the way [41] [60] [63]. I believe that Maddie would be a great mother if she ever wanted to have a child with her husband, considering her occupation as a veterinarian [67]. She is seen doing a celebratory dance with her sister, which could mean she might be taking time to sort things out when it comes to some people not approving of her marriage [41] [60] [63]. If Sonic were to leave the human world with Tails at the end of the sequel, Tom and Maddie might as well have their own biological children.

Sonic must have gained some inspiration from Tom’s new occupation to be more heroic in Green Hills [67]. But still, there ought to be some further personal growth that could be heavily associated with befriending Tails and confronting Knuckles. [41]

In association with promoting the film, there will be a short comic series consisting of four issues written by Gale Galligan and published by IDW Publishing referred to as a “pre-quill” to its events [65]. Teehee! Get it? The plot will focus on how the blue blur soon starts to grow a little bored of his simple life in Green Hills and proceeds to make it more interesting for himself by attempting to fight crime, which would be highly convincing for developing him even further into his highly experienced video game counterpart. Not only will this be an interesting way to promote the film but allow the reader to already be engaged in the film’s plot without spoiling it. The series will also be reprinted into a graphic novel as a compilation for those who prefer reading graphic novels in April 2022 [66]. I just wonder if the comic series and their editions in a graphic novel will be titled “Sonic VS. Knuckles – The Pre-Quill” in Japan to go along with promoting the sequel later on in Summer 2022 for Japanese audiences. I guess that ought to be the case since the film will be titled “Sonic the Hedgehog / Sonic VS. Knuckles” in Japan [65].

Would you be up for reading a pre-quill before watching the movie on the big screen? [41]

Tom: As great as the first movie was [67], I think this movie has the potential to be even better. This series seems to be going from strength to strength, and the new additions this movie makes look very good [41] [60] [63]. If all the pieces fall in place, I think Sonic the Hedgehog could very well be the best video game movie series of all time, and I can’t wait.

Laura: Aside from how amazed I am at the recreation of the events of the first Lilo and Stitch film in a summary that is stylised to resemble the experience of playing a 16-bit video game [14], I am quite impressed with promising the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is [41] [60] [63], pretty much like how I see the potential for Sing 2 before its official release date in the United Kingdom [58] [82]. I would be more hyped for a sequel to the film based on the events of the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise and its sequel, Rise Of The Tomb Raider [75] [76], which could be a tomb raider’s cup of tea [33]. Sonic’s well-deserved sequel is set to be released in the first half of 2022 before the time Marvel’s Midnight Suns rises as a role-playing game with a customisable protagonist [86] [89] [93] [94]. In the meantime, I shall be sure to continue to follow my passion for writing since my father’s cousin was an educational author way before I was born [2] [6] [7] [9]. And who knows? I might as well establish American editions of my novellas for American readers in the future [27] [82] [92], regardless of the amount of hate I could get [1] [15] [20].

As surprised as I am at how Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse will be split into two parts with the first part being delayed to October 2022 [33] [72] [74], I do not doubt that many of us are looking forward to Sonic the Hedgehog hitting the big screen in the world of live-action for the second time, quite like how he joined the monster-hunter clan for the second time [19] [34] [35] [54]. Additionally, it is highly promising that Sonic Frontiers will further honour the legacy of the PlayStation 5 that has done so well so far [69] [70]. [62]

Do I Regret Reviewing Alfred Alfer?

This is also an aftermath regarding concerns towards racism and misogyny. Reader discretion is advised, along with a strong recommendation to seek support if you have been a target of prejudice. 

For many of us, there is a time when we look back at something we became infatuated with…and suddenly regretted it. An example of this would be Bill Murray admitting that he regretted voicing Garfield in his two live-action movies [23] [24] [43]. Could this be the case for me and Alfred Alfer, the crazy canine created by Emily Rose Youcis [53]? I recall discovering the series on Newgrounds and YouTube back in 2018. The first time I analysed the series was more easy-going and the follow-up review that was published almost two years later was more critical. Some of you must have been quite bewildered at how I had the guts to review such a grotesque animated series on Newgrounds. Despite admiring the talent of the creator, I have also discovered something rather unnerving [58] [59] [63] [64]. It is no wonder I do not spew anything questionable and offensive, especially racist remarks on social media as there are some serious consequences for that, especially if you have a job [14] [38] [79]. As someone who takes acts of bigotry very seriously, some of you are probably thinking that I, unfortunately, regret reviewing the series, especially how I pointed out its positive qualities underneath a dark realisation [26] [62]. Well…do I?

I certainly do not regret the aspect of witnessing and describing the vulgar adult content in my first review as I was exactly the right age to see it at the time [59] [60]. And yes, I still am. I often aim to keep my blogs varied for readers with different interests. I believe that reviewing the series has helped expand my comfort zone to a degree, despite how used I am to reviewing episodes of Helluva Boss by now [66] [67]. Despite the risk of me regretting ever reviewing the Alfred Alfer series back in 2018 and 2020 for another reason that will be explained later, I am going to keep my reviews on my blogs for memory’s sake. [81]

I have nothing against the premise of the series being a mentally unstable dog in a psychological horror [58] [59]. I just think that the amount of vulgarity shoved into the plot overshadows a fraction of the overall depth [63] [64] There can be a little too much shock value that can overshadow a deep meaning in a story. Wouldn’t Alfred be a tad more likeable if there was some room in the finale for him to put more effort into trying to be loved after he plugged himself into the internet? You know, without going into a sex spree? I know I have self-esteem issues, but at least I show compassion to people on social media and work hard on my writing without resulting in publishing unneeded hit pieces. As empowering as it is for a female animator to animate so much shock factor [53] [58] [59], some lines can be crossed and there ought to not be so much of it to also provide far more effective character development and more legitimate aspects of an overall plot. Why not eventually draw a series of comic strips that feature some deeper developments for the crazy canine to avoid the theory that he died in reality becoming true [63] [64]?

I think it is a good thing that the segment “Hellbenders Porn” did not make it to the final outcome of the movie as that would have been a little tacked on in the film’s plot [63] [64]. [76]

I can understand that a plot in a music video would usually not be as big and complex as a plot in an animated short film [77] [84], but I still think some strength within Alfred trying to gain some admiration beyond graphic sexual acts would have greatly levelled up his likeability and greatly enhance Youcis’ skills in writing for Alfred cartoons [63] [64]. Some small improvement just had to be in “Waking Up”, huh [84]? [77]

Again, why not provide some even further development for Alfred when it comes to moving on from being ditched by Labby from Tainted Milk, a segment from Where The Dead Go To Die and his abusive childhood aside from necrophilia and a conclusion related to politics in real life [42] [72], even after he thankfully refrained from committing suicide [58] [59]? I understand that it is a difficult progress but I believe that there has been a greatly missed opportunity for Alfred to try and show some compassion beyond his depression. This suggestion of mine will also apply to Blitzo from Helluva Boss for the second part of its first season finale [34]. What do you expect? I am a Hazbean. Stolas of the Ars Goetia may have spewed explicitness on the phone in the pilot [35], but at least he made an effort in being a good father in “Loo Loo Land” [33]. I can empathise when it comes to wanting to be admired and I can see how Alfred eventually evolved into glorification at the final segment of the film, but I am sure some of us may have preferred to see a sitcom starring a far saner Alfred with Phat Dawg [53], just like in that Christmas special that was released back in December 2005 [58] [59] [63] [64] [71].

Even though it is rewarding to gain effort put into compassion and validation in return, it is important to aid the helpless and raise awareness for mental health issues. And yeah, how some crook slipped an ice lolly up Alfred’s anus in reality is really messed up [70]. Am I here to immaturely insult the Alfster like some troll [80]? No. Not at all. I just wish there could have been an alternative conclusion that made him much more comfortable with living in reality after gaining a deeper kind of independence and some deeper mental health benefits, which would have led to him becoming the saner Alfred from the Christmas special [56] [71]. [81]

Back in 2014 and later in 2016, Youcis accused the animated television show “Mr. Pickles” to be a blatant knock-off of the Alfred Alfer series [32], which was hinted at the end of “American Alfer” [53] [72]. Gruesome, isn’t it? Despite the accusation and parodic “punishment”, I would not consider Mr. Pickles a rip-off of Alfred Alfer for various reasons whilst comparing the two properties. Mr. Pickles’ character is a satanic serial killer while Alfred Alfer is a necrophilic victim of abuse who hardly takes a life [41] [47]. Mr. Pickles only speaks in reversed English when controlling the minds of other animals while Alfred will always speak and sing in forward English [31] [44] [70] [77]. Mr. Pickles has a caring human owner while Alfred is hardly owned by any human at all [41] [44]. Both canines are vulgar and sexually active in animation for adults only but have their own highly notable differences. And yes, both IPs are not beyond criticism [41] [47] [49]. To an extent, I believe that it would make a little more sense to compare Alfred Alfer to Ren And Stimpy “Adult Party Cartoon” [29] [40] [47]. It is best to look a little closer before accusing a highly similar concept of being a “rip-off”.

I honestly would not consider Mr. Pickles to be a rip-off of Alfred Alfer, unlike how many fans of the Happy Tree Friends series identified MobéBuds, also known as “London Mobile Buddies” as a rip-off at some point after 2009 [37] [50]. Additionally, an epic rap battle proved that it made more sense to compare Mr. Pickles to Labby from Tainted Milk in Where The Dead Go To Die [22]. All three canines are definitely nothing like Nintendogs [39]. [72]

I have a theory that Alfred and his dictator self could be non-binary. This is due to how he is into crossdressing and has a feminine voice [58] [59], as well as a penis that I had to censor whilst reviewing the series of course [63] [64]. Along with how his pronouns are “He”, “His” and “Him”, he was referred to as “Alfie” in a musical number that was first released back in 2015. The Crazy Frog may have been controversial for exposing his uncensored genitalia presumably for attention, especially back in 2005 when his popularity soared [18], but I deeply appreciate how he warned us about an unofficial association with him being a scam in August 2021 [52]. It is such a missed opportunity to associate Alfer with some non-binary representation without preaching it a little too much in either a sequel to the movie or another Christmas special and it may be unfortunately too late to do so now. It does not help a project that will be mentioned later on involved slaughtering homosexuals [16]. Seriously, if only Youcis’ vampire voice from her Halloween video from 2019 would have been used to voice a non-canon spin-off cartoon starring Alfred as a vampire…that does not sparkle [55] [75].

Twilight jokes aside, Alfred possibly being non-binary could have led to him being in a crossover with Helluva Boss [36]. But still, I believe that it is too late to enhance his credibility even further. Well, unless it will be completely fanmade with an alternate interpretation of Alfred [1] [27]. After all, Youcis was banned from various platforms, such as Patreon due to her antisemitism and such. [68]

The reason why some of you probably think that I regret writing about the Alfred Alfer series is how the creator, Emily Youcis turned out to be a white nationalist who has made many antisemitic claims and other racist remarks, along with crude and misogynistic remarks against women [11] [12] [13] [79]. Let us be thankful that modern feminism could be thanked for leading to Youcis achieving fame and praise for being an edgy female animator. However, there are many red flags throughout the run of the Alfred Alfer franchise, such as characters doing a certain salute and the watermelon creature who recommended excessive drinking to a heart-broken Alfred having a…not so nice name [54] [56] [57] [82]. She was also involved in the production of an online game with such a horrible concept [16]. And no, I do not think I want to mention it here. To be honest, losing at the game on purpose would be one of those moments when losing is more fun than winning. I can see at least the creative aspects of her song parodies from 2020, despite some racial slurs being included [80] [83] [85]. You would definitely not see those in any of my song parodies. Despite these controversies [15] [56], I ultimately believe that Youcis can remain happy and healthy outside of them [19] [28].

To an extent, I can understand separating the creation from the creator. Heck, I no longer support Activision Blizzard, but I can still declare to be a fan of the current incarnations of Spyro and Crash Bandicoot and simply hope for a much better ABK in the future [2] [3] [4] [57]. The same hope applies to the future of Ubisoft [5] [6] [7]. I believe that there is a fanmade version of the crazy canine living in an alternative universe in late 2021 for a reason [1] [27]. [84]

Although Youcis kept following her passion for animating for “Waking Up” [58] [59], I do not recommend watching that cartoon whatsoever due to its questionable concept, despite how it consists of skilled animation and passable voice acting for the main characters. [84]

In conclusion, do I regret reviewing Alfred Alfer? Well, not entirely. Just because I see the positive aspects of a cartoon series created by a white nationalist, does not that mean I am going to become one too. Furthermore, I never will. I honestly do not regret writing my Sonic.exe fanfiction that ended up on the Trollpasta Wiki when I was a creepypasta fan as its fate at least gave me a chance to greatly improve my skills in writing and write much better stories [51] [61]. I never intended to whiteknight Youcis as I am strongly against what she notably strives for these days, but I suggested to not go to her Bitchute channel and send her any form of hatefulness, especially death threats and I still do to this day [58] [59] [63] [64]. As much as I refrain from writing hit pieces, I am willing to take reasonable criticism on the first edition of my two novellas [65]. As for the crazy animated canine, how I was expressing concerns regarding the series gaining fairly recent attention on TikTok in spite of its discontinuation does not make me a “Karen” [9] [25] [30]. In the meantime, I guess I will just stick to playing with adorable pets in Littlest Pet Shop: Winter whilst staying out of it [21]. 

As always, please do not verbally attack Youcis as this is not intended to be a hit piece in the slightest. She is a very experienced content creator [77], but she still crossed a few lines later on [10] [11] [12]. I am not violating anyone’s access to free speech here, especially hers, but freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. Moreover, I will go my own way, thank you very much [15] [63] [64]. [85]

I might as well be mocked, shouted at and labelled for writing and publishing this article, but I know trustworthy people within communities I can turn to if I feel lost [45] [46] [48]. I am not scapegoating those who are still fans of the Alfred Alfer series to this day since I know what it feels like to be scapegoated. Please make sure that those who encounter the series are eighteen years old or over for future reference and have a nice day. I hope you all have a great Christmas break. [71]

The Expanded 20th Anniversary And History Of Bratz

It has been a while since we all wished the Bratz franchise a totally sweet twentieth anniversary [119]. And here we are, expanding on the celebration in style. Ever since International Friendship Day, it seemed like they can finally get along with Barbie and leave the days of lawsuits behind them [17] [29]. Aside from the four main girls strutting it within a new wave of relevancy [30], I wonder if they still remember specific characters from the days they were seemingly more popular than Barbie [121]. I may wish the Pixel Chix franchise from Mattel would have continued with perhaps an interactive castle starring an ancestor of Pixel as its princess or a school building where she can study in her school uniform [86], but I am more than glammed up for analysing more of the anniversary and history of the girls with a passion for fashion, apart from how one of the brand new villagers in the next chapter of Animal Crossing: New Horizons reminds me of Sasha [3] [121] [122]. Additionally, I shall expand on the franchise’s history before listing some high hopez for how the franchise can continue in 2022 and so on as a 2000s kid with a head full of ideas.

The fourth season of Aggretsuko will rock on next month [101], a new jurassic ice age is coming in January and Britney Spears is finally free from a corrupt deputyship [91] [109] [116]. What else is there to look forward to? Possibly more of Bratz, of course. [1]

What happens if the Bratz Babyz received a mega mushroom from New Super Mario Bros. each [103]? Bratz Big Babyz [82]! The ponyz they rode on in their normal sizes sure were cute as MGA Entertainment’s answer to Hasbro’s My Little Pony back in the day [2]. Cloe’s pony, Celeste was pretty much the young Earth pony equivalent of Princess Celestia from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and My Little Pony: Pony Life [98] [99]. Perhaps to fit in with the current generation a bit more, a new revival wave of the Bratz Babyz Ponyz ought to feature new characters as unicornz. Could they be Big Ponyz for the sake of familiar ambition back in the day? On second thought, seeing a new wave of ponyz in their regular sizes should be enough. In all honesty, I think we ought to not repeat the same controversy caused by how the Babyz were dressed back in the day [119]. Furthermore, the Bratz Babyz Ponyz were some of the least problematic lines in the whole franchise and bringing a new wave of them as unicorns will make them familiar to us 2000s kids, yet fresh to a new and younger audience [2].

As cute as the Bratz Babyz Ponyz were, even on a Nintendo DS [50] [51], I still think there can be an early/mid-2020s counterpart for them as they were some of the least problematic toy lines [119]. [51]

There were some nice names for the Bratz Babyz Ponyz in the second DS game, such as “Carmelia” and “Adara” [51]. I wonder what lovely names will be given to Bratz Babyz Unicornz? [50]

Do any of my fellow 2000s kids miss the Bratz as Babyz and Kidz [119] [122]? Well, throughout the run of the franchise in the 2000s, there were two characters who were an older sister named “Lilani” and a younger sister named “Kiani” [76]. Due to the notable age and height of Kiani, I think there was a missed opportunity to produce a spin-off line named “Bratz Tweenz” that aged the four main girls down to that age, which could have provided some backstory on how they began to see things a little differently during the start of puberty and perhaps make them a little more realistically relatable to the prime target audience. A new “Bratz Tweenz” line could be as cute and fashionable as Hello Kitty’s collaborations with Smile and Show Box [107]. It would be wise to not make their clothing look a little too…well…provocative [119]. But at the same time, ensure that they will be at least trendy as there were lines that were less critically acclaimed. I am sure that ageing the girls down just a little will provide some fascinating backstory, which can be further explained in a new animated series set in that time period.

At some point, Lilani was a kid and Kiani was a baby [63]. Perhaps there could be some backstory on how Cloe, Jade, Sasha and Yasmin were all preteens in Talking Bratz, but that will be discussed later on. [76]

Alternatively, a “Bratz Tweenz” can welcome back Kiani and Zama as preteens. [63]

We have not seen many other Bratz girls in years, such as Vinessa and Tessa [105]. Did you know that there was another girl named “Raya” in the late 2000s days of Bratz [69]? Are the two Rayas from different eras the same character, but with some notably different traits? I guess that could be the case, considering how Raya from the 2015 stop-motion web series was all about the laughs [41]. I still remember the ending of Bratz Kidz: Sleepover Adventure being…ironic [83]. It would be funny if there were a doll line based on it, but obviously without any spoilers. Moreover, I believe that a new doll line could feature Nora and Nita from Bratz Babyz: The Movie and Ginger from Bratz Kidz: Sleep-Over Adventure as teenagers to welcome them back for a new generation of Bratz fans [44] [83]. And referring back to how different things were in 2015, Yasmin can be featured in a new doll line with Ginger and the twins as teenagers that is centred on yoga and meditation in honour of giving advice on how to benefit mental health [122]. Maybe a new Raya can be a combination of the two Rayas from different eras in a new line.

Of course, it was not just Cloe, Jade, Sasha and Yasmin who had the passion for fashion in the 2000s and the 2010s. [80]

As much as I quite liked the stop-motion series during the smartphone-savvy era, in spite of how it relied a little too much on current trends [119], I think the next set of Bratz lines for 2022 can re-introduce Raya, but in the mid-2000s style that was brought back in 2018 [69] [122]. [41]

So, how would I vaguely compare the first season of the Bratz TV series that aired from September 2005 to October 2006 to the second season that aired during February 2008 [72] [73]? Well, I thought the visuals of the second season looked very slightly different, compared to the animation in the first season when I watched them on television as a child [42] [43]. Luckily, there was no change as drastic as the fate Jake Long: American Dragon met [87] [110]. It has always been suspected that Burdine Maxwell is meant to be a parody of Barbie, considering how many times MGA and Mattel have fired lawsuits at each other within their warzone [55] [119]. I would somewhat prefer to work for Burnice, Burdine’s twin sister considering how soft-spoken she was to the tweevils in her debut [42] [56]. The two seasons of the Bratz TV series had entirely different casts [72] [73], but that was absolutely fine as the new cast was not only as convincing but the portrayal and development were more important. Yes, I am aware that plenty of us prefer 2D animation over the CGI styles from the two seasons [42] [43]. Furthermore, the Bratz Fashion Makeover app might as well receive an update featuring Elemina [60]. Maybe an official Burdine doll is long overdue.

Does Burdine’s business follow the Spellman birth rule, in spite of Christy Baker not having a twin sister [58] [106]? [43]

What if a new chapter of Bratz Total Fashion Makeover featured Elemina confronting Burdine [79]? [60]

It is a shame the ten new characters associated with the 10^th anniversary that was celebrated a year early never got any portrayal and development in Bratz Rock [40]. Apart from Tyla being excited for what has been revealed at the school assembly and apparently having a passion for acting:

• Joelle would have shown great problem-solving skills [62]
• Ashby would have a great athlete by the name of girl power [47]
• Carrie would have shown an interesting “tough at first” personality [57]
• Lydia might have faced a small consequence for not getting enough sleep [67]
• Adri might have written her own story [46]

If only there would have been more webisodes that expanded on the story, revealing the identity of “Whisper” [40]. Alternatively, I guess there could be a new chapter of Bratz: Total Makeover about any of the ten girls continuing the legacy of Bratz magazine against Burnice Maxwell [79] [119]. After all, most of them made their second appearance in Bratz: Fashion Boutique [64] [65] [74] [81]. On second thought, maybe that is just my idea of a series of Bratz fanfiction. I liked the idea of introducing ten new characters on the 10^th of October 2010, despite how awkward it was to celebrate the franchise’s tenth anniversary a year [45] [48] [122].

I think any of the nearly forgotten characters ought to return in a new doll line, such as the girls from the 10th-anniversary celebration. Something tells me that Carrie could have been the child-friendly version of Carrie White [96]. Shira was the only one to make a second appearance in Bratz: Action Heroez instead of Bratz: Fashion Boutique [75]. Perhaps some of them could return in 2022 in a brand new line. [45]

There might as always been fanfiction based on what could have happened after the events of the only webisode that was uploaded onto YouTube back in 2010. Such a concept can still occur today. Or better yet, a second season of Talking Bratz can re-introduce any of the 10th-anniversary characters and give them some further development [119]. [40]

A year before the 20^th anniversary began, it has been confirmed that Roxxi and Nevra are the first canon same-sex couple in the franchise, winning the hearts of young gay rights supporters [68]. This not only expanded on the diversity of a huge cast of dolls in a different way but shown some character development that was not present in the franchise before. Moreover, I would be delighted to see two new Bratz Boyz as another same-sex couple to further increase the diversity within the cast. Perhaps that can be established for Valentine’s Day in 2022, quite like how Hello Kitty made a kawaii appearance in Bicerin in Japan this year [12] [13] [14] [15] [16]. As previously suggested, I think there ought to be a new transgender or non-binary character, which can appeal to transgender and non-binary consumers. How appealing to young LGBT folks with LGBT characters can greatly reduce their fear of oppression is somewhat similar to how the True Hope dolls honoured young cancer patients in the early 2010s. We ought to keep teaching children that same-sex romance and transgenderism are okay and should not be demonised, whether they will learn about it in schools or not [52] [108].

The heart on Nevra’s crop top indicates that she is bisexual and the lesbian flag-themed band around Roxxi’s left wrist shows that she is a lesbian. I will be up for seeing another official same-sex couple in the future of Bratz. [68]

Homophobia is so not stylish! Leave it in the dark ages where it belongs! [68]

The passion for fashion is still blooming like a garden of roses. On the day after I published my previous article on the twentieth anniversary [119], it was announced that the official advert for the Bratz fashion collection from No Name would be revealed [28] [104]. Back in June, there was a competition to win the whole collection of Bratz T-shirts from Daisy Street in the United Kingdom [85]. In August, a Bratz-themed line of stylish trainers from Puma was released [49] [54]. On Instagram, you will see the girls posing whilst wearing them [20] [21]. The collaboration was even promoted in the Bratz Fashion Makeover app [32]. A second collaboration between Bratz and No Name referred to as the “09 Collection” bloomed in August as well after a fashion show back in July [18] [19] [27] [28] [31] [53]. It looks like we ought to get ready for the Christmas season soon as the Bratz have promoted another makeup line from Revolution referred to as a “Holiday Collection” whilst spoofing a specific scene from Mean Girls [25] [26] [38] [39] [95]. Considering that the L.O.L. O.M.G. dolls are popular in the current generation, I suppose that there could be a crossover between the four main Bratz girls and any of the starlets of the O.M.G. clan since both franchises are from MGA Entertainment [94].

Well, at least no pink pumps were being promoted [115]. [54]

The second makeup line from Revolution is sure to add a little Christmas sparkle this December [38] [39]. I believe that a crossover between Bratz and L.O.L. O.M.G. will be as appealingly ambitious as the official crossover between Hello Kitty and Pusheen [89] [90]. [49]

The Bratz Rock Angelz made a stylin’ return on the red carpet in association with the Video Music Awards that aired on MTV [22] [34]. The art style of the image of all five girls posing for the cameras is highly similar to the Talking Bratz series [119]. This has led to the re-release of the Bratz Rock Angelz line from 2005 [70] [71]. At least Burdine Maxwell, a somewhat memorable antagonist in pink and her employees who made their debut in the film were not around to wreck the comeback [115]. And of course, what would the Rock Angelz be without Roxy [113]? It sure is amazing to get a rehash of that year after Barbie befriended a new girl named “Barbie” [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]. The recreation of the Bratz Rock Angelz doll line was sure to bring our dear Bratz fans back to those simpler times [4] [84]. Speaking of recreations, I think there ought to be a recreation of Lil’ Bratz to celebrate their 20^th anniversary in 2022 [66], as I have previously stated. Or better yet, a rerelease of the Bratz Forever Diamondz line, including Sharidan would bring the bling back if the budget for such a revival will be around [105].

Rock on, angelz! [34]

Would you believe they even recreated the cruiser [71]? It sure is great to get a taste of those 2005 vibes. [70]

Similar to the premise of Hello Pinkie Pie [100], the new web series titled “Talking Bratz” is a talk show hosted by Felicia [119]. I am terribly sorry, but I am afraid that the trailer that featured the girls in graduation outfits was pretty misleading. Even more puzzling, an animated short in the same style that featured a character…burning the tip of their tongue with a lighter [35]. I know that it is just a parody of a character named “Jennifer” played by Megan Fox pulling this stunt before claiming to be a god [97], but it is, unfortunately, my least favourite part of the legacy of Bratz in 2021. However, there are two more spoofs that are a bit more…well…fitting for my tastes [23] [24] [36] [37] [92]. No pun intended. Additionally, there were pretty good for the Halloween season. But still, aside from how a previously mentioned spoof is fitting for Christmas [25] [26] [38] [39] [95], wouldn’t it make a little more sense to spoof a scene from the Twilight movies since they were primarily aimed at a teenaged female audience [113] [114]? Or for something more critically acclaimed when it comes to empowering girls, The Hunger Games [111] [112]? Who knows what else will be spoofed after the 20^th anniversary of the franchise? More importantly, a second season of Talking Bratz would be interesting [119].

The Tweevils as the twins from The Shining is horrifying!! The Tweevil Takeover must have been a warning [33]! But apart from the cool cosplay, let us not risk angering parents by spoofing a film that is not as…steamy as Jennifer’s Body [97]. [37]

Overall, I believe the Bratz franchise could be continued in 2022 and so on after some shortly upcoming releases with any of the following [49] [59]:

• A 20^th-anniversary celebration of Lil’ Bratz [66]
• The rerelease of another popular Bratz doll line from the 2000s
• The return of Bratz characters who have not been featured in years, such as the Triiiplets and May-Lin, but with more accurate Asian representation [80] [119]
• A pride line with Roxxi and Nevra [49] [68]
• Some new LGBT and non-binary characters for further diversity
• A new “Bratz Tweenz” line with the four main girls at Kiani’s age
• A new Bratz Ponyz line featuring new unicorns
• A zany crossover with L.O.L. O.M.G. for more ambition [94]

It would be cool if there can be a new Bratz game for the OLED model of the Nintendo Switch [117] [118]. Would you love the new era of Bratz to continue in 2022, possibly in association with celebrating the 20^th anniversary of Lil’ Bratz and a few new aspects in some other lines [66]? I sure would! Certain aspects of the previous eras may have resulted in the fashion police being called [11], but at least there is a lot of passionate potential to keep Bratz fashionable for next year. Stay stylish, starletz!

The 20th anniversary of Bratz franchise is to be concluded with the release of the rereleases Kumi in her Tokyo A Go-Go attire, Meygan in her Sweet Heart attire and Felicia in a brand new Christmas-themed dress [51] [61] [77] [78]. I may miss the days of racing with my sister in Mario Kart Wii [102], but I am up to see what styles the girls with a passion for fashion will go for in 2022. In honour of glamour, as well as freedom, have a Merry Britmas [88]! [61]
